A 360° MATERNITY JOURNEY

The Essence of Maternity

Teaming up with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) allowed for the creation of an immersive experience that carries the viewer deep into the heart of maternity. This visual symphony, blending global testimonies with sensory elements, invites the audience to feel the very essence of motherhood.

CONCEPT

A dark display with the large word "Mum" and smaller text reading "One day, someone will call me".
Two people seated on stools having a conversation in a dark room with bean bag chairs, large screens displaying images, and colorful lighting.
A curved digital display screen showing scenes of healthcare and childbirth in a hospital, with a black circular surface beneath holding numerous small gray and blue fabric-covered objects.
A pregnant woman standing on a dark stage, illuminated by a spotlight, with her eyes closed and arms slightly outstretched.

Drawing from the voices of pregnant women around the world, I sent out a call to hear the stories across my social networks and of those from MSF.

The response was overwhelming, yielding over 5.5 hours of audio testimony in 11 different languages, covering a wide range of perspectives on pregnancy and motherhood; from physical experiences to philosophical reflections.

From this audio montage of voiceovers, I composed the music and crafted the visual elements that brought this 20-minutes narrative to life.

The exposition began in April 2024 with an extension requested until October 2024, with ongoing discussions for an international adaptation in a Dome format.
