A CINEMATIC PERFORMANCE LIKE NO OTHER

CONCEPT

Audiovisual Performance in cinemas

During a six-month artistic residency in Brussels, I developed an ambitious project to create an unprecedented audiovisual performance, designed to be shown in cinema halls. To shape the narrative, I gathered footage from my travels and collaborated with videographers from around the world, bringing a unique visual and cultural diversity to the project.

The result: an original and deeply immersive show, bringing culture, audio, visual and artistry ever so much closer, a marriage unlike anything seen before.

Technical challenge

The technical creation of this show was a true challenge. I had to gain full control and knowledge of cinema equipment to project a live performance. To achieve this, Lucas Hallauer developed a “roulette machine” that allowed me to manipulate images and sound, an innovative tool essential for bringing this project to life.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted the tour, and it has yet to resume.
